Trying to use them for any sort of project is a complete waste of time. The batteries don't keep a charge, and don't last for more than 5 minutes of use. NiCad batteries are just awful. I was given a Versa Pack system for Christmas a few years ago, and these batteries are by far the worst rechargesble batteries manufactured by anyone EVER. I love the idea of the versatility of the Versa Pack tools, but these batteries render the the entire set virtually useless.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK WORKS IN ALL DESIGNED PRODUCTS. CHARGING INSTRUTIONS ARE GOOD ALSO.
This battery was a very good purchase for the price. The VP100 battery was shipped on time and works very well.

My old tired DustBuster has new life and I am happy. My husband is a genius I'm telling ya. These batteries work great which is exactly what new batteries should do. I was ready to toss out my old DustBuster because I wanted more than 5 seconds of sucking power but the husband suggested we just buy new batteries for it. 5 stars for new batteries that work and a husband who listens to his wife's complaint. Who knew you could buy new batteries for a DustBuster. That I could do that never entered my mind. What a concept.
